Young performers experience exciting encounters
In enthusiastic theatre communities.
They focus on the friends they find
And saying the right line when it’s
Time to shine.

They dream to dazzle, inquire to inspire,
And pursue phrases of praise from
Adoring audiences.

But what happens when they’ve taken their final bows
And said goodbye to the glorious, innocent easiness
Of youth theatre?

They graduate and go out into the great big world
And wonder, “when will I wander upon
A comparable creative passion?”
That’s when I found
Directing.
