I found love in a strange place

I saw him standing alone
Looking rigid and timid
With a bid to cheer him up
I quietly approached him.
He smiled back at me
He has that beautiful smile
With the most perfect set of teeth.
Chills run through my veins
I found myself wrapped in his arms.

The beats of the music rhymed
With our heartbeats; I shiver
As I begin to feel him rise beneath
His breaths warm and rapid
Mine I can't explain the vibes
That night in the club we danced
Our hearts out to the sound of music
That came from our own souls.
Cuddled in our own world
Oblivious of the tempo around us.

When we finally made love
It was the sweetest of feelings
Been famished for a long time
Eating on each other like hungry wolves
Never have I felt this good!

Now I sit alone reminiscing
Of those lovely moments together
He, gone far away
Me taking pleasure in replaying
Those beautiful scenes of our love.
I await that day we'll meet again
When this love would've blossomed
Our hearts panting with passions rising
With no reservations, we will devoured on ourselves.

I found love in a strange place
Frome someone I wasn't expecting it
My heart was closed to passion
My body stoned from lack of touch
Until you came and bestirred me!

About this poem

There's always a second chance in life for love, and it can come in places we least expect. Be open for love.
