Silence

Amarjit S. Bakhshi

Whenever they swelled up around,
to engage in trading words
and impair the bowl of milk,
with a cursing drop of dye,
I failed to use the weapon,
divine, that lay with me,
to end up in losing,
the battle I could have fought,
against the enemies around me.
