Rare Is The Vision

Rare is the vision witnessed to see,
One who has obtained their own identity.
And done it to have earned,
A peace of mind taking many years to receive.
Will not often be the one to rely upon,
Accommodating excuses made by others.
Nor tolerating their insecurities,
Allowed to continue to go accepted.
Yet...
Accuses the one,
Who has sacrificed their time to give...
To those refusing to face their mental issues.

'And before you leave,
With a giving me your childish attitude.
I hope you remember if you should grow up.
Who it was that told you the truth,
About yourself.
Doing it to still listen,
As to who didn't show you their love to give...
On your terms.

Unfortunately,
Too many like you...
Had been given that love on your terms.
With it done too much and too long too often.
Without teaching you to learn the difference,
Between fiction to delude a truth...
That had you nowhere near,
The center of the Universe being served.
As a deity on this Earth to worship.
That discovery need not to be,
A painful reality revealed.
And...
Whenever that vision,
Comes to crack open your thick head...
With the facts of life to live it.
You will hopefully,
Appreciate a loving to be of service...
To someone else to reminisce yourself,
Taking for granted those you showed...
Not only thoughtlessness.
But also your ability to be self serving.'

'I am at a loss for words.'

'I am surprised.
For whatever the reason,
I am awaiting to hear you say...
SAVE YOUR BREATH!
And trust me,
That lesson from you...
Needs not for me needed heard repeated.
No longer am I living trying to convince,
Myself or anyone else...
Acceptance for who I am to be,
Has never been a goal or priority of mine.
I've have learned the meaning of love.'
