LOVE LETTER.
He sent me a love letter
Different from any ever read
Makes me feel always better
My heart it lances like a peg
Despite my grievous wrong
An apology I must tender
But offended came to the offender
In a way ineffable with this mortal tongue
His forgiveness to me He expressed
His love for me leaves me impressed
Reminding me of His old agreement
Which he fulfils in the new arrangement
I cherish the message as much as the sender
The message - the Word of my Lover
Sounds so new each time I read it
Going over it severally like a Vestal with Rosary beads
His Words engraved in my heart and lips
Like an Eremite and the Psalms in his Breviary
Holding it tightly as I go to worship Him in Chapel
I cherish His love letter-the Bible
