Living in the Past

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Living in the past
Without His presence in your life
Will only cause you worry
Bitter anxiousness and strife

You cry out: Where is God?
As you continue your own planning
But Satan robbed you of the truth
And where’s your understanding?

God is where He’s always been
He’s seated on His throne
So throw out your own planning now
And make His Life your own

He don’t want your religion
Or your worthless sacrifices
Say here I am to do your will LORD
And give up your devices
