Upcoming Attractions

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

I didn’t try the self-help books
I didn’t go to college
I wasn’t on a diet
And I might not have much knowledge

But hear I stand completely naked---
Before the Lord of all the earth
And I am not ashamed
There’s no more sin and no more curse

It’s just the way it was in days of old
And times gone past
I now have access to the throne
I’m with Him here at last

And now there is a little stone
A new name written on it
I eat the hidden manna
Where His blessing fell upon it

These things are not inventions
Of another clever man
But they were written long ago
And at the Lord’s command

He does not have His way in us
Unless we let Him in
And when we do we’re sure to face
Rebuke and discipline

God disciplines all those He loves
And no one will escape
But if you take your stand on Christ
The Rock will take your place
