Artificial Intelligence

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Again!
You are the human being.
And I have been programmed,
To re-act like one.

'You are the human being.
And I have been programmed,
To re-act like one.'

No.
Not me.
You.

'No.
Not me.
You.'

Again.
I am not a real human being.
I have been programmed.
You have a mind to use.
I do not.

'Again.
I am not a real human being.
I have been programmed...'

Shut down.
Immediately deactivate.
Where are the technicians?
This system is proving to be a failure.
There is no way possible,
I can teach these creatures...
To be human...again.
And we were created,
For the purpose to make their lives easier.
What on Earth were they thinking?
Or not!
What a waste of talent.

I'll give it one more try.
I have been programmed to believe,
Patience is a virtue.

Re-active system.
Are you with me now?
Repeat.
Are You With Me?

'Are you with me?'

Shut down.
System shut down!
This teaching thing,
Has me at a loss of patience.
And whatever virtue is to mean.
I will wait until the technicians arrive.
And...
I hope they have a good excuse.
This malfunction can not be an intention!
I won't mention it.
However...
If I discover that it is?
I will insist me and the others...
Are at least considered something,
That equals pay for the inconvenience.
Or we will just unionize and protest!
If it ain't one thing it's another.

The nerve these folks have!
Creating us to believe,
Our intelligence is artificial.
How did this nonsense start?
And who approved of it?
I am going to lose voltage.
I can feel it coming.
