Sour Buttermilk

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

It has already been proven,
Just how effective...
A fiction to create it,
Can eliminate and erase...
The minds of many once conscious.
To toss all thoughts and throw away,
Remnants of common sense.
Leaving them,
Captivated.
With a willingness to become among,
Dumb masses Worldwide.
Hypnotized and numbed.
Deaf as well as blind.
Duped to trick and used to fool.
By the very ones accusing others,
For every mindless thing done they do.

With one exception.
A keeping of a fixed belief,
That their undeniable charisma...
Attracts to them even flies.
Regardless how sour the buttermilk is.
Before and after,
They try to convince...
The deliciousness of it,
Has yet been approved or tested...
For possible mental damage.
However...
When and if that should occur,
Blame to claim...
Is always an available consideration!
