TAKING THE POET TO A DENTIST

It was only the alternative
To take the poet to a dentist
As the lyrics poured in, creative
Suffocatingly, true, like the artist.

"Look doctor", I pleaded, earnestly
Keep this minstrel always in silence"
(Not to be silenced for ever, honestly!)
"No! The bard hasn't stolen my heart, nonsense!"

Who wants advise, when help is sought
Can even a doctor deceive you down?
"Keep his mouth sealed with yours, tight"
The dentist prescribed for my ail, the clown!
