Strength

LaToya McEachern 1977 (Lumberton NC)

I don't have the strength to move on,
I feel like no one cares
And I'm all alone.
Sometimes I just wanna give up
And throw in the towel,
But that's not an option
Because God and my inner self
Won't allow it.
From somewhere, I get the strength to move on and keep going
So here I go,
NON-STOP AND FLOWING....

I'm 44 years old and have a passion for poetry. I have been writing poetry every since I was a teenager in high school up until I got out of it a few years ago.
