Heaven and Hell

The walls of the valley close in and in,
Those that lapsed shall not lapse again,
Arrows rain from all directions,
Devils thrive on misdirection,
Those that speak shall speak once more,
To rise and revolt, to condemn and deplore,
Let it not be said that we remained idle,
Carried away helpless as prisoners of a false disciple,
Those that cry shall laugh in time,
Those that now weep in the shadows shall shine,
Let it be known that we are disillusioned,
Deluded by our own delusions,
Fantasy is the refuge of those that are weak,
But reality is the fantasy of one who is strong,
All of it is a trick,
Not a test or illusion,
As humans we are quick,
To concede to confusion,
So we embrace and celebrate this world we observe,
But we cry and we weep and proclaim we are cursed,
Fools! Even now can you not see,
You are prisoners of your own fantasy,
The world outside is the world within,
You prance around in confusion, you stumble and sin,
Fools call themselves wise,
Such is their nature,
They are quick to send up cries,
When they are in danger,
By all rights - Let them Burn!
But the gracious One gifts them that which they cannot earn
He extends his hand - 'Take It!' he yells,
But they slap it away and decide upon hell.
