Being an idiot for an idiot

I believed falling
was something idiots do
that was until my
heart skipped a beat for you

My mind and body
telling my heart to not fall
But how could it not
For he just walked right in
and called me his doll

When I touch his skin
shivers goes down my spine
I feel the sparks on me
But oh my, how it feels so divine

When he hugs me
I leave my guard down
How foolish I know, but at least
he's saving me from being drowned  

When he smiles at me,
my palms begin to sweat
I kinda wish I didn't felt like this
For when he smiles it feels
like a sweet threat

But when he talks about her
it makes me realize how dumb I can be
The inappropriate things he says
makes me realize we will never be

But also makes me realize that I'm falling
and I can't seem to stop
Will it be okay if I became an idiot
for an idiot who can't see my love?
