A Fear Of

I have a Fear of....
You and I getting close,
Opening my heart to love,
And letting emotions coast

I have a Fear of,
Telling you about myself,
Without feeling below or above,
Wrapped doll on a shelf

I have a Fear of....
The connection I feel we've made,
First time experiencing honest love,
Hoping it won't quickly fade

I have a Fear Of....
Falling deeply in love with you,
Being set free like a dove,
Having my heart broken in two

I have a Fear Of....
You loving me or not,
Losing you altogether,
Another you forgot
