A Caricature of Tomorrow

A caricature of tomorrow
When light leaves breath.
All alone the simple bet.
Tungsten, absinthine, silver
In eyes.
Only sterling with copper,
Only embraced with merry weather.
Corrode my soul
The last of it's kind.
The darkness forbodes.
In time.
Eyes tell a story,
Of all the glory.
The eyes show the wither
Of a soul gone hither.
No longer a grace
Trying to embrace
The repetition of heart.
Subjects glare and blur,
No time for here.
Match me to a heaven and star,
Not another lonely war.
Give the flower a reason to live,
Give the congregation a finite sieve.
Never anything new, mind you.
The last soul derives
From the next soul who survives.
