when you left
it got better
drug free,
no cravings
no temptations
but then you came back.
and the offer was there
tempting me,
standing right in front of my face
begging me to try again.
how do you say no when the cigarette is right in front of you?
I say yes
I try my best not to
but the truth is,
no matter how hard I try
I’ll always say yes,
