Once More.

As he walked away I couldn't help but say “wait, don't go..” the quiet street went cold as he
faded into the distance. A tear in my eye I accepted my fate.
But when his lips had touched mine for the first time it was like all my problems went away.
He was like no other. Was it love? I think so.
But my lover had left. Our two souls once combined were no longer.
In his arms I had once found peace.
I wish I could find it once more.
