Sea of children

Free verse
There is an incomprehensible pain,
Behind the dampness of the eyes.
Horror and helplessness
Creep into hearts like never before.


Minds are forever corrupted.
Abandonment scars are forming the brains.
Padlocks of happiness are wrought,
Deep within the being.


Five hundred thousand children are marching,
Somewhere to their nowhere.
The path scent of pain they're leaving behind,
Is followed by many, so many like them.

Once upon the time I had a friend and his name was Me. I and Me were indissoluble friends, he was I' s world. One day, Me decided to go in search of self and at one point disappeared.
