All Birds Do Not Fly

We,
The citizens...
Of opportunity and self righteous wishes.
Spoiled.
And deluded beyond truth to accept,
How fragile life is to live it.
Not guaranteed,
Kept to sustain without breath to breathe.
Air.

Continue we take for granted ourselves.
To believe no one else,
Suffers through...
Sorrows, heartbreak.
And pain to feel.
Too severe no medication created,
Can numb away from memory.
The repetition of anguish.
Or rid by throwing money at it.
To stop the evil of man-made greed.
And the ones who believe,
Tortured minds cure overnight...
When money is within sight.
Based upon a fiction to feed.
Just to impress,
The keeping up of pretensions addressed.

And why?
Why is that question few can answer.
To make sense of intentional destruction.
Premeditated and strategically planned.
For the purpose to prove insanity rules.
Leaving those self indulged to assume,
Themselves to be chosen...
Leaders to be followed.
Into the bowels of hell.
As if homesick to miss,
Where their minds are cemented.
Fixed!
With wishes to turn Earth,
Into...
A dwelling.
A hate filled replica,
Of their racist dominion!

'Whoa...hold up!
How can people of the same race,
Be racists?
What is it that they see,
Others can not detect.
Even under microscope.
And then become argumentative,
With those who are clearly...
Discriminated against.
Because their ethnicity.
Claimed to be easily identifiable?'

'Why do some birds with wings,
Are not seen flying in the sky?
Yet...
All are birds?
And then when cooked,
No one can tell,
If it is squirrel, rabbit or chicken?
Can you tell the difference?'

'What sense does that make?
Or...
I should say,
What sense of such nonsense...
Are you trying to make?'

'Exactly!
Those are my sentiments too!
But...
I have to admit,
I still wonder about the wings!'

'What?
You wonder about that?
When the sky is about to fall?'

'Chicken Little said the same thing.
And folks thought,
She was out of her mind!'
