I know how to make a splash, apparently, and how to make all the waves crash, in time, you'll see
How to swim to shore and dive, apparently, and on land how to survive, so let me be

but how to fly, I beg to learn, apparently, in the sea, my heart can't burn, so set it free
and humans crawl before they dance, apparently,
but I must spread my wings to take this chance, do you believe

To the heavens, through the stars, apparently, above a prison with no bars, and on my sleeves
I wear my flag to let you know, apparently, swallow my pride, and let you go, love never deceives
