The I with We

Love is not a cliche
Written by an unknown
On commercial greeting card
Nor plastic flowers arranged
At command
of the book of flowers display
A living love is a life lived
Generous in mind and a soul
To give and share
Care and scarify.
Depart from the selfish “I”
and for some momentarily pause
Search for the “We”
Then one day you might feel free.
