2021/08/16 ~ Spiritual Warrior

I’m just trying to be a daughter
To a father and my mum,
Be a sister to their children,
Something to everyone.
Up and fighting so that they’ll see
That the Bible tells the truth.
Yeah, we’re built up for success
If we follow what is true!

I don’t do it for the money,
There’s stuff that I don’t have .
I don’t do it for the glory,
But I’ll do it til the last.
Showing them the way to Him
Is my responsibility!
Yeah, I'm steady and I’m real sure
Of what He means to me!

He won’t ditch just ‘cause it’s Monday.
Yeah, He’s there when I ain’t strong!
He’s there through the dark and black days,
And when I’m crying’ all night long.
You can bet that I stand ready
When the devil knocks at my soul.
Hey I’m faithful, hey I’m steady.
Yeah I’m committed til the end.

And I’ll always serve my Saviour,
Even when the price is high!
I've been warned of all the cost,
But I know His sacrifice!
Darling, I don’t want to die today,
But when He calls me home,
I’ll climb the staircase with joy,
‘Cause He never left me alone!

I’m a Spiritual warrior, a true child of God.
Beside my brothers and my sisters
I’ll forever spread His Word.
When the Gospel truth’s in jeopardy,
I’ll speak out and be the light!
We’re out here on the front lines,
Doin’ God’s work tonight!
