Ode to my study table

I am working on my ode
On this simple and sturdy table
To scribble something on my notes
To glance on its color-like maple

The way you serve your purpose
As another spot in my room
That will help and support me through this course
In every meet, and in every zoom

To you my dear table to study
Whom I hope to be a table to work
My thanks for the comfort each day
And each night even when it is dark
