Between shadows

Magic mirror, tell me who I am...
And the mirror looks at me with its crystalline eyes,
hidden behind himself,
and writhes in pain.
It seems that he has seen in front of him
his own boring mirror image,
unable to laugh,
nor to kiss a flower.

Magic mirror, tell me who I am.
I can't see myself in a mirror,
because I'm blind with love,
I need to understand what is happening
I need to know why God doesn't come
I need to understand why I don't see the world
and why the world does not understand my pain.

Magic mirror, break your deaf silence,
speak to me with the heart,
break into a thousand pieces and give me an answer,
stare at the sky and ask for forgiveness.
But tell me magic mirror,
tell me before the sunlight disappears,
tell me why I don't see...

About this poem

A magic mirror always has all the answers... But will it have them for a blind man?
