Indifferent Attitudes

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Compromised and mentally impaired.
Completely manipulated.
And done made to be unaware.
Of so much that has been,
Historically mythed and intended meant.

Yet no one is exempt or immuned,
From attempts not to pay...
The high price it takes,
To avoid and stay away from conflicts.
Started!
Everyday. Everywhere.
As if this madness has become,
The latest fad.
Leaving no option to decide,
Which escape to take is provided.

This meaningless waste of time taken,
Is just another way...
To dismiss the seriousness,
Of how fast to fade...
From fiction to delude life.
And the quality of it.
Sitting on the edge of fantasyland.
With it kept protected to defend,
By entitlements given to believe...
They have been chosen with mentalities,
To spread their evil that sickens...
All of humanity for a power to obtain.
Until a normalcy left of it to find,
Can only be defined...
As insanity maintained.

Authorized.
And subjected to having the proof of it.
Produced.
With it certified to identify its truth!

'May I see your identification.
And this...
You declare is actually you?
Laughing hysterically?'

'Yes.
But I have since been medicated.
Anything wrong?'

'No.
It is becoming more difficult these days,
To identify those....
Who are recently out of the minds.
From the others trying to pretend,
They have never been normal.'
