"Our Stand"

Karen Hagenbaugh 1960 (California)

To this country, every woman and man. Let's put our hands together, because United we stand.

The problems we face, the killings at hand. We should stomp out hatred , for United we stand.
The rich get richer, the poor become poorer, with our bad economy , it's such a horror.
But we can change the problems of man, by coming together and United we stand.

Stopping the hate , hurting those kids .
Blaming each other for the things , we done. Violence all over the world terrible with sin, who really knows where it begins.

There will be peace, in our world once again. Because we will come together , so united we stand.

About this poem
