Chariot

Ahmed T

Free verse
he sun felt like a chariot
Aiding me to greatness
When the chariot fell
I was thrown off into
Despair, and sadness
There was no light
No way for me to
Ever return to the chariot
However, I found a person
So strong and graceful
Right next to me with a kind smile
That lit the dark dark hole
I fell through
And there was the chariot
Right besides me
Lying perfectly untouched
