Feelings

Lonely, yet not
Tired, but upright
Dumb, yet smart
Expectations
Misunderstandings
The world looks down on you
“Don't do this, don't do that”
“You're wrong, just admit it”
How much until I crack? The fissures are forming
The cracks are coming
I can feel it, I can hear it, I can see it
How to cope, how to deal?
How to make it through the day, no trouble, no questions
But there are questions
Tests, practice, everything to do
Is this life?
Is this lonely, terrifying world life?
Have to be perfect
Have to be smart
Have to be strong
Have to be tall
Have to have abilities
Have to impress those who look at you
Those who look down at you
Fights
Inequalities
Bullying
So much stuff going on
The fight to survive,
To live,
To breathe,
To impress
Never goes away
Keeps coming back for more
And more
And more
And more
How do I fix this?
How do I make a difference?
How do I live?
