On the brink

Joy love and peace, why do you hide so far from me?
I'm in what seems to be neverending game of hide and seek.
Just when I think I found you it always turns out to be counterfeit.
Continual heartbreaks no one around to help me mend together the broken pieces
It feels like my blessings are cursed and everything my hands do, all are set to fail.
My vision is blurry from all the tears I cried.
Only God knows how hard I tried.
I'm so tired , I'm so exhausted.
Fighting in this endless battle for my life.
Recently I prayed to God to just let me fade away quietly in the night.

Yet God didn't answernoatter how much I pleaded, no matter how much I cried
Because he knew, no he know just what's on the other side.
Trust in his word and everything will be all right.
His word tells me that his word is truth cause for he cannot lie.
These fiery trials I'm enduring, that they are just a test of my faith.
Once I pass they will become some of my greatest testimonies.
About how God once again brought me through
Hold on! Don't be moved.
My season is just about due.
I'm currently on the brink of a breakthrough
Stand Still and know that he is God
That he is the same yesterday, today and forever.
He shall keep me in perfect peace.
He will continue to fight for me.
His word is truth. Whatever he says, that he will do.
Sorrow shall not last always.
After the rain there shall be sunny days.
Just trust in him with all my heart.
Allow him to guide and direct me because only he knows the end from the start
Follow his footprints and he shall lead you in all spirit and truth.
All because of his everlasting love for me and for you.
