Effortlessly

Brian Kotilis 1985 (Philadelphia, PA)

They say everything happens for a reason.
hopefully this was one of those and not just for a season.
We came into each others lives not knowing how easy it would be.
a friendship, a connection that no one could possibly see.
Our lives so close and so near to each others pasts but in another’s shoes.
almost as though fate brought us together to show which paths to choose.
Effortlessly this friendship grew into a bond.
It happened so blindly that one would think someone had a magic wand.
A trick up their sleeve to make emotions run high.
But with this connection with this bond no one could deny.
Deny that two people can come together without even trying to.
On this day on this hour one can only say that fate is real fate is true.
One might say I wish I met you sooner then today.
Maybe hours, days, months, years before yesterday.
But truth is the world puts us exactly where we need to be at the right moment.
Sometime Effortlessly isn’t enough sometimes you also need to be patient.
Not every time you realize there is a connection should you jump full speed ahead.
But yet wait for that moment that might be better felt then said.
