Picture book
The images of my life
Family – friends
Photos of yesterday
Still very meaningful!
The baby, first steps
On dad’s lap
Birthdays with friends
Chuckles and tears Memory
recalled
All still there alive
So real
They even whisper
Some seem to move
I embellish
Yet so many gone
While I still love
And reminisce
I close the picture book!
Will my grandchildren absorb?
My wonderful collection
Will all these images
Be lost – discarded?
Better transfer to a CD
