Numb

Numb is feeling hurt but disregarding the emotions behind it. Numb is being there but not being acknowledged but, still masking a smile behind it all. The love I have to offer to someone is sometimes more than I have to offer MYSELF to MYSELF! silent cries are a relief I can still feel emotions because most of the time feeling numb doesn't allow you to feel such feelings inside yourself. The love I give out I crave to be given back one day. Seem's as if that's just a fairytale to be told but not an action that can be reciprocated let alone be done, least not in this lifetime of mine. I tend to cling to things that do more damage than things that could uplift me or bring out the better me. Sober me equals shy me..1,2,3 drinks in me brings out the real me and everything I wish I could tell you when I'm sober. A drunk mind is a sober thought, right? Why is it I have to let poison in me be the only reason I feel comfortable enough to tell you what your giving is not as deserving as I feel my worth is to you. Why can't you see me as equal as I see you, as you are to me? I'm risking more and your still missing, how does that go hand in hand ? Rather be numb to your actions than to cut the ties and restart and feel the same unsatisfaction from someone else . A cycle then is created, A pattern of drunk outbursts and sober feelings unleashed after a bottle is emptied. Numb me after a bottle poured through me is not fun me, It's a crazy me, where is this coming from kind of me. Waking up and understanding that's not me who got through to you last night but all the emotions the liquid courage brought out.
