Trapped

Wrapped up and weighted down, always a dark storm coming down, feeling trapped, im going insane, when will I be the better me a gain
To far gone, I feel this way, so much dark, so much pain, im sinking down low and I can't escape
Somebody help push this heavy storm away, I need you now, I need you today, without these pills im afraid to say, that eventually I will be no more to see,
So dark weighted storm go away, so I can be the better me again someday.

I'm 37 and happily married with 3 children. I was born October 1984, in the small town of Moscow, Idaho to Alan McDonald and Norma Hogsed , currently residing in the once was a small town Bonney Lake, Washington . I love anything outdoors including camping, hunting and fishing. The Walking dead, Sons of Anarchy and Outlander are some of my favorite t.v. series to watch. I'm a machinist by trade, currently and slowly building my small poultry processing company HOGSEDS MOBILE POULTRY PROCESSING (1 employee....me). I'm extremely patriotic and would have served if I didn't make 1 Giant mistake. (Feel like shit everyday since) My best friend is Brian E. I have 1 Brother Joshua P. and 1 Sister Amber M. . I am the oldest of the 3 My children are Gracee (14) Gabriel (9) Eben (8) , My ultimate best friend and lover is Tiffany (34) the 4 of them are my rock and my world, I would live for them , I will die for them and kill for them, they are my everything. My favorite person was my grandma, she passed 10-28-2020, My favorite colors are Blue and Camouflage My favorite quote is by a Navy SEALs Lt. Michael P. Murphy " NEVER OUT OF THE FIGHT" I like any book on survival skills I love all " BASED ON ACTUAL "......MOVIES especially American wars/ fighting. I prefer trucks over cars and cars over vans because I'm not a soccer dad. I've heard the last words from my cousin that was murdered in 2004 across the street from my house " I WANT TO GO HOME" he said before passing. I like country, rock and some rap music, im slowly learning how to play acoustic guitar, and last but not least I love taking a good bong rip of mother nature's greenery. more…

I've recently written about the struggles of being a man and what life presents to us as men. This is a very telling and poignant piece, Larry. I also see that you live in the beautiful state of Washington. I, myself, lived in Tacoma and Auburn for three years in the 80s. I'm an east coast brother myself, but absolutely loved Washington. Thank you for sharing your story my friend. See you up on Strong Street.
