Funny that after all these years, I've been the one who lives in your principle: Save the best for last.
But as painful as it looks in the eyes
And unkind to ear to read your sweet letters
Like how your soft voice gently hugs the skin
The smell of you has never been fainter
When in distance, I see you enter someone else's house
About this poem
I wrote this while I'm riding an FX going to work. The radio plays the song "save the best for last" and I thought that all these years, I've been faithful to my own little promise to him.
