Flight of the Fire

Like a moth to a flame
you drew me in and singed my wings.
Caught me as I fell, you held me close
and kissed me tenderly.
A familiar fire began to spread
deep through my soul
a fire that only connected souls know
I am yours, as you are mine,
two souls forever joined together.
Connected like the smoldering lava,
hardened and unbreakable.
Our fate sealed even before birth,
the master plan was already in motion
Your fire calls my heart home
like a beacon in the dark, beckoning
There will never be another who can
extinguish these flames,
for it burns only for you.
