The Pull of the Tide.

Sacred heart of the maker,
tug at my heart string
as others do to break her.
Thoughts collide in flippant order.
Body proceed on like a soldier.
World flips into a youthful spirit
as words are lost in a lip sliding kiss.
Oh calm these waters as vomit emits
awash these clothes that no longer fit.
Dry out this linen and bring me home
The more to whisper, the more to roam.
To whisper to all with freedom restrained
but blown in the wind so beautifully framed in a breath and breadth of this world and the sky.
The one you forgot and yet keep within your eye.
Remember this babe that you sent to fill
the room with a light, when you're patient and still, and talk to my sleeping mind open hearted this night.
Leave us not forever most dearly departed but allow us to feel whom are necessary.
