Mystic Love

Waking up to thoughts unraveling
Memories fill the air
Must be the cost of always traveling
In my mind it was you that never cared
Just a memory
Fading off like a ship in the mist
Just to always reminisce
To think of what was
That won't always be
So again I say hello
To a distant memory
Its just going to be the same
My forever forbidden flame
Just awaiting the end of days
Only way I'll ever see you again
My one and only
Old friend
You do not know the pain endured
Or the thoughts that raced my mind
It all comes down to one silly moment
An argument unknown
To even have the thoughts I waste on
To write my silhouettes
Poetry in progress
But it's time you know I'll never forget
But to erase you permanently
The time has come
I've waited long enough
Just know that in the end
I really did try my best
To be left forgotten
Like all the rest
So one more time
I love you is my eternal quest!!!!

About this poem

This one's about a love that was never meant to be and didn't even end in friendship but as two strangers who never got to even know the meaning of what was meant.
