My God Is Bigger

Tika Hales 1973 (Ft Lauderdale, Florida)

My God Is Bigger
Then the sins that want me dead
So go ahead Satan
Try to mess with my head

Sure, you know my weakness
But I know where my strength is
You can put in images
And I will put in praises

You can tell me that I'm lonely
Try to make me feel unloved
But there is no love better
Then what comes from God above

My God Is Bigger
Then the sins that want me dead
So go ahead Satan
Try to mess with my head

You can take me to my past
Try to leave me in my shame
But the blood of Jesus Christ
Has washed away all blame

You can rifle through my memories
Remind me of my pain
But even that will disappear
When I call on Jesus's name

Because my God is Bigger
Then the sins that want me dead
So go ahead Satan
Try to mess with my head

I told you my God is Bigger
It says so in His Word
Greater is He that is in me
Then he that is in the world

So, keep on wasting your time
I am ready for your toil
His Word, my prayers and worship
Are all I need to foil

Yes, My God Is FAR BIGGER
Then the sins that want me dead
So go ahead Satan
Try to mess with my head

Because I know my God is Bigger
I've fought your fights before
But what I didn't know back then
Was Jesus already won the war.
