My care has no Color

         My care has no Color
When I assist the elder causation lady to get into bed cause her aliening body is no longer able to perform this task alone.
As she thanks me for my care and treatment of her done with respect and the utmost care the tears well up  in her blue eyes and my color turns RED

When I see the Asin child about to fall in the water and I grab him and alert his mother of the imminent danger my color turns Yellow  like the sunshine that appears on her face when her child is safely wrapped in her arms.

When the homeless man sweeps the lot of the store and we all wonder what is he going through in his life.  I give him needed conversation and a blessing on his life  my color is Blue like the man.

Walking along the park and seeing the vibrant flower emerging from the apple tree my color turns White like the purity of the seed that birthed the flower
.
Rolling down the freeway on my way to honor one of our countries war vets for one last time, as the  trees and nature go by they take hold of my spirit and I remember the talks and walks we used to share as I cared for him my color turns Green  like the land he fought for and I am humbled.

The color of a sunset I shared with the brown skinned African child that was suffering is silence from the loss of his parents who were taken by war my color turns Orange like the fire seen in the distance concluding his sorrows for the day.

The colors of care is as vas as the colors of the god made rainbow that we all delight in. Let our care for one another continue to have no color.
