Leverage

There was a vision that once stood on
the designation of leniency
a resurrected faded stain on my heels
wandered into the cold streets
brought a reason for recollection
as a ghost whispered into my ear
reminded of a future of wishes
when the struggle resisted
the urgency was reclaimed to become
better than the next choice
an expense that I claimed
destroyed what was meant to open next
ended of progression
with a mixture of flowing instability
lifted up the thoughtless restraint
that was acquired with the breathless resurrection
and purchased resistance
a common advantage never encouraged
through broken strings of influence
left powerless
filled with nothing more than a clear inheritance
unraveled attachments
of the accused
taken to the other side of the authority
leave me here to stand on my edge

About this poem

I wrote this as an example of my separation from my writing. I took along break from my writing and have lost many senses of my creativity. This brought me back to what I am destined to express.
