Is There a Place

Is there a place
Away from the chaos
Away from the madness
From which there seems no escape

Is there a place
Where the quiet lives
on a single snowdrop
Of the last winters day

Is there a place
To pull away the veil
That protects you from it all
That has always kept you safe

Is there a place
Where time stands still
Where the cloak of forever
Can wash clean your face

Is there a place
Somewhere in the world
Where the value of a heart
Cannot be erased

About this poem

I was in a very crowded airport after fighting traffic and seeing people everywhere, and as an introvert, I was wanting to escape. Maybe the only place where complete quiet is is after we are gone.
