How do I get my Granny back?

Girl who told you that you could leave us ?
Thats the question that I constantly ask
Like who told you to go away and never come back.
Its hard here without you
We all miss you so much
Funny how we take things for granted
Things like a single touch
Grandmothers are supposed to be here forever
Well, my grandmother at least
Never thought I would have to face the fact that one-day you would leave me.
Life is a precious gift that we all should cherish
One-day its gone and the memories are buried.
I think about you a lot though its overwhelming
Like, WHY would you go when you meant the world to me.
Theres was poem that went roses are red violets are blue
But that poems no longer exist to me without you
The world outside is still moving
But sometimes I feel like Im standing still
Jesus said that if you have faith though
You can tell a mountain to move and it will
Didn’t know until I was older that it was a metaphor for something higher
Like the one that goes “Love is friendship set on fire”
What if I made up a metaphor about you
Say for instance “My Granny is my rock”
If I choose to use it in present tense
Could I cover it up with the feelings that I block
So weird that in my business life I can be so demanding
But in my personal wonder why these cards are being dealt to me
I know that non of that really matters though
You see how I often get off track
I guess the question will remain the same
How do I get my granny back?
