Fight for life

In an army of accusers one weed like plant stands alone
As the winds and snow howls and beats
The struggle is unseen but precious
No-one cares about something seen as useless
As the years go on it battles and survives
A soldier stops to pick up something dropped
Notices a rare beautiful flower that has grown twice the size known
He smiles as he carefully replants it
Cherishing that once weed like plant for what it has become not knowing the struggle!
