An Angels Chorus

I felt a tear fall from my face
Wiped away with a withering Grace
I looked around in surprise
Staring with unbelieving eyes
My voice, I could not find
With sad eyes He read my mind
Wrapping me within His wings
In Praise of God’s Love He started to sing
“Praise the Lord in your Heart
With sacred words that He imparts
This gift given to Heaven and Earth
‘On the day of His Birth’
He hugged me as He came near
Trying to talk, I choked back tears
He whispered “ with written word you have shown
Your Heart in Heaven is well known”
Your longing for those that you have lost
The tears and heartache it has cost
Feel my word within your Heart
“They do not go far when the part”
They sit and hold when you cry
They kiss away tears. From your eyes
Hear them tell you of this place
All the beauty in its embrace
Finally my Angel. I have met
He gave me a gift I will never forget
He pulled a feather from His wing
With sacred words that He imparts
This Gift given to Heaven and Earth
“ On the Day of His Birth”
Take this feather and always know
I am near wherever you go
Know God’s Love will never cease
With this Gift your will feel His Peace.
