Brunescence

My lens is now Brunescent,
My sight is less than excellent.
Through age and UV damage,
My adult and fetal nuclei manage
To lose glutathione's protection.
No amount of refractive correction
Can aid my thickening lens,
from needing a thorough chromophore cleanse.
Yes, worse than deutergensence
is this brown, blue-blocking Brunescence
