For how long? you questioned yourself!
Pondering as dawn draws near
Enveloped with mixed thoughts
Never again; whispered loudly
Tears rolling down your cheeks
Yet your heart yearns for more.
What if it turns out good?
Possibilities being freely analysed
Sweet memories sets in
Feeling of guilt gets you trapped
Deeply rooted in disbelief, yet you flow
It's end of the road, you thundered!
Uncertainty to stay cuts through
Fear grips your thoughts
Slowly withdrawn, yet all in
Behold! Conditions settling!
What if I am the reason?
Aloud you laughed
Reaching for glass of cold water
Patiently waiting for reassurance
Your crown, you readjusted!
Beautiful future you envisioned
Shiny and bright like moonlight
Your softness gradually returns
Shutting your door skips your thoughts
Pretty beginning has begun
Never to be hurt again!
