Interest

Living to comprehend,
The definition and meaning to feel...
An understanding done.
Can be effectively respected,
If exchanging the acceptance of it...
Is not a competition to win arguments.

Too many rush to qualify,
Appearances and their differences.
With a teaching of this approach to life,
As a way to establish...
The wrong and right,
Black and white; height and size of it.
Without going beyond,
The limits of their confined experiences.
Yet...
Dare to declare,
Themselves aware and knowledgeable...
Of gains they have obtained,
From rumors heard to hear...
By gossip spewed on the streets,
Coming out of the mouths of those...
Socially illiterate!

Too many,
Speed dial and rush to identify...
Whose appearance qualifies,
A giving of respect.
To first inspect,
Their differences to object to them.
Living only to understand...
Although distanced from comprehending,
The meaning to understanding...
Is not a competition to win arguments.
Or declare a winning to have won,
Achieves anything done...
Believed mutually left understood.

'I WON. I WON THE ARGUMENT!'

'What argument?'

'The one you attempted,
To get me to understand...
Where you were coming from.
Done to have experienced.
And I refused to listen.
So I won.'

'You won...what?'

'The argument.'

'To understand what to win?'

'I don't understand what you mean!'

'You've got to be kidding?'

'Seriously.'

'So...
If you don't know,
What argument you won.
And I was not,
Competing with you to win anything.
Why and what are you so excited about?
Not understanding?
Make your nonsense,
Of meaningful interest to me.
I am here with ears to hear this!'

'You are doing this to make me,
Look like a fool.'

'Trust me.
I had nothing to do,
To make you feel you look that way.
But if that look should cement your win?
Who am I to object,
To the obvious observed and witnessed!
You won.
And I lost...
Your argument.
Congratulations!'
