UNSPOKEN WORDS FOR MOM By danE, Amanda and Katy 11/16/2011 12:23 AM

Daniel E. Mayon 1948 (Galena Park, Texas)

The wind moves over our bodies announcing her presence,
Then the magnitude from the dark night
Releases her unsullied pristine essence,
The sound of crickets chirping a love song lures a mate,
Over and over again, to another day awake.
Waiting for chimes to chime, music to play, birds to sing!
Beginning to fight each crevasse of life,
That reach out to maim, to destroy our light.
Always smell roses in spring, fresh baked bread her bosom bring.
Songs we cherish, songs we sing, begins our daily souls to zing.
Children playing, running, laughing, talking, crying, sleeping?
Feel the calm as the night continuously speaks;
And unknowingly tells us of our mother’s love.
She is unaware of that Mighty voice, that help's!
I know you, you know me, that’s why through your eyes, we see many visions of equanimity, peace and serenity.
Don’t worry, don’t be afraid, don’t be sad, for all will be ok, He said!
We see it all and hope you can see who we see; the One who made us, who gave us you!
Fall asleep, to await that special breeze, that breathes her love, on us, for us, with ease.

About this poem

Looking from the minds of her two disable daughters. If they could speak, could see, could think; I believe they would say very loudly these UNSPOKEN WORDS FOR MOM!!!
