Is this love?

The words tumble out of my mouth in a chaotic mess
As though shoelaces tied together,
An avalanche of mumbles and stutters,
Thoughts revoked,
Insecurities uncloaked.
Sunlight hits your skin
flooding you in light reminiscent of celestial beams,
Pull me out of the shadows I beg of you,
Eyes searching.
Breaths held to a whispered gasp.
Bodies tended to.
Hands not mine hold me in a close embrace,
With every foreign feeling I flourish.
You kiss each blemished freckle on my face.
You remind me that imperfections make people perfect.
My body submits unwillingly and my legs buckle.
You didn’t even have to say a word
