Momma I feel you

Momma I feel you......

Momma i feel you, I know you're still here,
Every time I look to the stars I see your glow, I know I feel you near,
Lay to rest now momma, I have no fear.....
Momma I know you had to go, I saw it in your eyes,
I keep telling myself, this here is a very bad dream, it all came as one big surprise,
The day will come when we must say our final goodbyes...
Momma I feel so helpless, so lost, dazed and confused,
It feels so empty now, I know you're not suffering anymore but I cant fill your shoes,
I guess you were ready to be paid your dues,
I must have missed it, I didn't see the clue's....
Momma I feel your spirit in every room there is a light,
I know you made it home safely, you're amongst the stars that shine so bright,
Damn I had to have a drink 8/26/2021 was the worst damn night.....
Momma even though we had our outs, I love you all the same,
How do i rise from the ashes of a broken heart, without feeling as though im going insane,
All the tears in the world wont bring you back, so nothing will change......
I know being there for so long, she has lost alot of loved ones and most of her life, but for some reason she was still holding on,
They say when someone you love passes, "they're in a better place," lucky for you to say the one i love is gone,
Turn the station, I hate this song.....
Momma I feel you everytime the wind blows the scent of wind song fills the air,
What happens now, you left me im all alone this shit just isn't fair,
Temper tantrum and you think I care.....
Well momma I guess its now time I let you go, be at peace,
This pain is like no pain I ever felt, its like no other and yet I haven't found my release.
Momma ill wait for the wind to blow, as the lines cross the sky, i'll know its you,
You'll be forever and always in my heart and just know that I love you too,
